Sisusavi® is a soft water-based mouldable mass, which can be stained with pigment, or plant colors. It hardens at room temperature, when the water evaporates away.
Sisusavi® is a natural material, micro cellulose. It contains no staining clay or plastic. Mass reproduce even the smallest details.
Sisusavi® is fully compostable, because it belongs to the natural cycle.
Sisusavi® is a product I developed. It is sold at Greenbutton.fi.
The compound is also used in watercolor art. Casein or glue can help the compound adhere to paper or fabric. I use glue myself.
I have gathered wild plants and even grown some, such as madder. I have extracted the color from these into water solution and stored them in bottles. I have then used these colors in my works.
Ecological Sisusavi®
I am delighted with Sisusavi compound because it is easy to use and doesn't stain. Colors are easy to mix into the material. The colors reproduce accurately and vibrantly. The painting becomes edible if I use food-grade colors.
